Production designer Hojin Lee has been selected to lead the visual design for the upcoming psychological horror film 'Answer the Question', a project that promises to deliver a chilling narrative set within a supernatural bed and breakfast environment.
Lee, known for her award-winning work on horror projects like 'The Monkey's Paw', will be responsible for transforming a historic inn into a haunting landscape of psychological terror. Her role will involve creating intricate set designs that enhance the film's narrative, including sourcing antique occult props and designing atmospheric spaces that contribute to the story's escalating supernatural tension.
The film follows four university students documenting their stay at a psychic's bed and breakfast, where they become entangled in a deadly supernatural game. Lee's expertise in crafting immersive, emotionally charged environments will be crucial in realizing the film's gothic, period-inspired aesthetic inspired by New England haunted inns and early 20th-century spiritualist movements.
Producer Kakia M. Amarh highlighted Lee's selection, emphasizing her unique ability to make every set element contribute to the story's psychological tension. Lee herself expressed excitement about diving deep into the horror genre, noting her intention to create a space that functions both as a character and a trap within the narrative.
With principal photography scheduled from May 16 to July 15, 2026, 'Answer the Question' represents another ambitious project for Largo Legend, a production company known for compelling storytelling and strong visual styles.
